The Rocking B Ranch is owned and operated by US Army Veterans, John and Patricia Baird.  John is a retired combat veteran with 20 years of service.  Patricia served five years in the Army, four of which were overseas in Europe.

John started working horses in 1975 in Tennessee on a small farm in Loudon County.  He was taught a passive horsemanship style from both Doyle Goodson and R.A. Bright (the latter was the original Rocking B Quarterhorses owner).

John is a Certified Lyons Legacy Accredited Trainer.  He is also a Certified through Therasage EMC as an Equine Massage Therapist and Rehabilitation Equine Therapist.

As a teenager, Patricia's love of horses was encouraged by a local horseowner which afforded her the opportunity to work and ride horses in exchange for ranch chores.

The Baird's love of horses have culminated in the opening of the Rocking B Ranch.

Rocking B Ranch Enterprises, LLC and John Baird Horsemanship supports the local 4-H and sponsors individuals as they compete throughout the year.  We also support local Girl and Boy Scout troupes by providing a primitive camp site and by assisting them earning their merit badges.

Through John Baird Horsemanship, John teaches horsemanship to the Japanese Air Force and Army to promote a worldwide friendship and common bond using a true pioneer, the horse.

We also annually sponsor The Open Invitational Show in El Paso, Texas.
